Many datasets on CDP are public, and you are free to explore them without creating an account. However, you will need an account in order to create your own datasets, apply for access to existing datasets, and save your work in projects.

ABOUT CDP
The Columbia Data Platform is a service offered by CUIT for developing and distributing datasets for your organization. It allows you to store, curate, and analyze any type of data. It connects researchers with your peers and a growing pool of organizations hosting data. You can transform data with collaborative, reproducible, self-documenting tools, all from the comfort of your web browser. Analyze and merge data with automatic versioning, share data with peers across the world, visualize your data and publish your findings on the web.
The Columbia Data Platform is powered by Redivis and managed by CUIT. To get started with a new account or to join an organization, simply submit a request form for CDP access following the instructions below. The current cost of onboarding is $1,200 per organization. Storage costs are $0.15/GB/month, and there are no compute costs for users.
